On Wednesday, we finally got our very first, and at long last, we get to see these characters in motion, and not just in 1,000 different paparazzi pics.

In the clip, Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly walks the halls ofin some spiked red Valentino pumps to the tune of Madonna’s “Vogue,” in case you forgot whom this movie is supposed to be about. Miranda gets into an elevator, where she is joined by Hathaway as Andy Sachs sliding in just as the doors close. “Took you long enough,” Miranda says, as Andy slides on some sunglasses, looking every bit Miranda’s protégée. It’s hard to say, but if I were to wager a guess, it looks like Andy and Miranda are on way more equal ground than they were back in the original movie. Could Andy have ascended the ranks at’s digital strategy, causing them to be the rare success story in a bleak media landscape, thus explaining their mysteriously high employee headcount?
