The House committee examining death row inmate Robert Roberson's case held a nine-hour hearing Monday, which may resume Tuesday if called by the chairman.

“We’re at ease right now at the discretion of the chair and are waiting to see if he needs to call us back,” she said. “He didn’t give us a timeline.”She said Moody acknowledged that committee members were in a holding pattern instead of being in their districts campaigning.
