Among the five people charged by federal prosecutors in connection with actor Matthew Perry’s death, the two lead defendants are a licensed physician and a drug dealer from North Hollywood, the U.S. Attorney’s Office confirmed Thursday.
In 2019, Sangha had sold ketamine to another customer, the U.S. Attorney alleged. That person died on the same day. Between September and October 2023, Plasencia distributed about 20 vials of ketamine to Perry in exchange for $55,000 in cash, the U.S. Attorney’s Office said.
