As wedding season ramps up, stylist and brand consultant Anny Choi shares some of her best tips for finding the perfect outfit for a summer wedding.

It’s no wonder why the season is traditionally the season most couples choose for their nuptials.
Yet, dressing for one is no easy task. The abundance of sunny weather opens up a myriad of possibilities for outdoor and non-traditional venues. However, coupled with theand the rising costs of dresses, there’s a perfect storm of outfit questions that make finding a guest-appropriate ensemble an odyssey.
It may be tempting to just pull something from your closet, but that’s not the current reality for many, nearly 50% of respondents said they purchased a new outfit with an average price tag of $81. Add accessories, gifts, travel, and other wedding expenses, and having a top-notch guest outfit keeps getting harder. Choi recommends starting your summer wedding outfit by reviewing the invitation details, especially the location and dress code.
Finally, thinking about the couple’s style might be a good indication of what’s appropriate for the wedding, no matter the. If a wedding invitation is more on the classic side, it might be a good idea to stick to more traditional styles, rather than edgier takes on guest attire. Getting dressed up when it’s 85 degrees is no easy task, especially considering the layers of makeup, underwear, and accessories thrown onto one’s body.
