When they face the Raiders in the second week of preseason action Saturday evening, the Rams will still be sitting most of their veterans in an effort to preserve their health for when the games count. Despite the lack of headliners, the Rams still have a number of important players to keep an eye on at SoFi Stadium.Joseph Noteboom, in competition at right guard and left tackle, was sidelined during this week’s joint practices with the Raiders with an undisclosed injury.
Anchrum made a convincing opening statement last week against the Chargers. Pro Football Focus had him graded as the Rams’ best pass blocker in the game, not allowing so much as a pressure in 24 passing downs. He was also one of the Rams’ two best run blockers, per PFF, so another solid performance Saturday could put pressure on the coaching staff to keep him on the field.Sticking with the right side of the offensive line, Logan Bruss will be a person to watch Saturday.
