The organization’s headquarters are in Chicago, but the group has offices in Washington, D.C., Atlanta, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, New York and Oakland, Calif.Its founder has faced health challenges in recent years, including a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease. When Jackson resigned in July, President Joe Biden stated how Jackson has helped lead the country forward through tumult and triumph.
“The idea that Reverend Jackson was going to step aside? Not going to happen,” Martin said in the video.
