If you’re headed home for Thanksgiving this year, make sure you head over to Hawkins, Indiana, first. The fifth and final season of the hit Netflix drama “Stranger Things” will be broken into three parts, with the first episodes — referred to by Netflix as Vol.
1 — set to stream Nov. 26, the day before Thanksgiving. A second installment — Vol. 2 — will become available Dec. 25, with The Finale slated to drop Dec. 31. It’s been a long time coming for “Stranger Things” fans, who have been clamoring to return to the Upside Down for more since Season 4 hit Netflix in 2022. So, what can they expect? “The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown,” Netflix says in a synopsis of the upcoming season. “Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. The first set of “Stranger Things” Season 5 episodes will be available in the United States on Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. ET, with various times set for international viewers. How Many Episodes Will Be In ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 There will be four episodes available in the first batch, while three more episodes will drop on Christmas Day. The finale will come out New Year’s Eve.
