The scariest monster in the NFL, the injury bug, continues biting the 49ers.
The San Francisco 49ers were stymied by a stingy Atlanta Falcons defense and even more mystified by their opposition's running attack. In the end, the team's long day at Mercedes-Benz Stadium was capped with a 28-14 loss to the Falcons.
Jimmy Garopollo threw for a pair of interceptions and the team continued to get bitten by the injury bug.
