What is the status of Rep. James Comer’s impeachment probe into President Joe Biden conducted by the House Oversight and Accountability Committee? Appearing on a podcast this week, Comer said he wants to “wrap it up as soon as possible.
” Comer claimed the probe has found that “not only were there crimes committed, but there’s a coverup at the highest levels of the government.” Comer added, “We have mountains of evidence and now we’re ready to bring ‘em in.”During his time as Vice President, Biden potentially sent and received roughly 82,000 pages of emails through accounts not bearing his name, according to a filing by the National Archives and Records Administration . Some House Republicans are pointing to this as potential evidence of corruption, and are pushing for unredacted copies of the emails to be released. White House Spokesman Ian Sams defended the use of a pseudonym,, “not only did he lie about his son Hunter making money in China, but it also turns out that $40,000 in laundered China money landed in Joe Biden’s bank account in the form of a personal check. And the Oversight Committee has it.” The check is signed by Biden’s sister-in-law Sara Biden and states it’s for “loan repayment.” The CommitteeHouse Oversight and Accountability Chairman James Comer said that bank records uncovered by lawmakers reveal that President Joe Biden received $40,000 in laundered money from China. According to Comer, the money to Biden originated from Northern International Capital, a Chinese company affiliated with Chinese conglomerate CEFC. Eventually, it made its way to James and Sara Biden after going through a series of Hunter Biden-linked entities. James, the president’s brother, and his wife, Sara, then sent Joe Biden a $40,000 check as a “loan repayment.”Colorado Republican Representative Lauren Boebert is urging fellow GOP lawmakers to impeach President Joe Biden after a filing by the National Archives and Records Administration revealed 82,000 pages of emails he may have sent or received using pseudonymous accounts. The court filing was made as part of a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit brought by the conservative nonprofit organization Southeastern Legal Foundation.
