Billy Bob Thornton and Sam Elliott play a father-son duo on 'Landman,' but how close in age are they in real life?

When an employee at the facility told T.L. that he’ll see his late wife again some day, T.L. replied, “If I do, that means I’m in hell, too.” Elliott signed a two-year “Landman” contract, which means he should be playing T.L. in season 3 as well. Paramount+ has not officially confirmed season 3, but Elliott hinted that it’s coming during a recent interview with“I’m excited to see what unfolds in season 3. I mean, we’re talking about season 2, but that’s backstory for us at this point. We’re all kind of looking toward April and May when we start shooting season 3,” he said. Thornton, for his part, signed on for four or five years of “Landman.” He told THR that he wants to do the show “as long as I’m able” or “until the story runs out.” “Landman” centers on Thornton’s character, Tommy, a landman and fixer for M-Tex Oil.
