Elon Musk officially completed the buyout of Twitter, finally agreeing to the $48 billion deal to purchase the social media platform on 28th October 2022 after months of news about the deal.

His comments on the correction of over-moderation were evidenced with the re-admission of controversial figures Donald Trump andHe’s also very interested in cryptocurrency and has proposed plans to integrate crypto into the platform. Changes to advertising could also be on the way, as alluded to in his statement.
Musk has hinted that he wants to charge users a fee for every tweet they send, helping to reduce the amount of spam and bot profiles. In addition, it’s possible that users could even earn cryptocurrency through engaging with ads and using the platform in new ways. However, how much of this becomes a reality remains to be seen.In his statement, Musk also spoke about how advertising should be considered a type of content tailored towards specific audiences.
