RodeoHouston’s Feb. 28 to March 19 run promises plenty of thrills: new food, new rides, shopping, attractions, giveaways, and free and discounted admission in addition to superstar concerts and in-the-saddle cowboy and cowgirl action.

The 2023 RodeoHouston opens Feb. 28 with 20 days of new attractions, food, concerts, and special promotions.Opening day comes with free giveaways

NRG Park opens at 8 a.m. on Feb. 28 with a special giveaway of Howdy bobbleheads to the first 10,000 paying guests. The opening day parade starts at noon on the grounds of NRG Park. And the Houston band the Suffers will perform on the Stars Over Texas Stage at 2 p.m. The Glow Party at the Champion Wine Garden at 7:30 p.m.On March 8, the rodeo presents Community Day sponsored by TC Energy with free admission for all guests until noon.

The new Fan Zone inside NRG Stadium will allow guests to create a personalized “player card.” The Fan Zone is also where guests can have their pictures taken and get autographs from their favorite rodeo cowboys and cowgirls.On March 4 the sky will light up over NRG Arena with a special light show made up of 200 drones creating different formations; beginning at 7:45 p.m.The Champion Wine Garden will host a themed brunch each Sunday morning of the rodeo, from 10 a.m.
