SAN DIEGO — For close to 20 years, the only Original Tommy's San Diego location sat on the corner of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and Ruffner Street. it's deserted and has vandalism"We'd go there sometimes during the week at work. A bunch of us at Ford would go and have some burgers. It's sad to see how it is now," said one former customer.
The post generated hundreds of comments from sad customers, but there was no mention as to why they closed, or what would replace it.Tommy's does not own the property. According to the San Diego County Recorder, its owner is listed as a living trust based in Los Angeles.
