Sony’s presentation at CinemaCon 2023 showed off some footage from the upcoming Kraven the Hunter movie, including an exclusive first-look at Rhino.
With CinemaCon 2023 in full swing, Sony divulged the first footage from Kraven the Hunter for those in attendance, offering a first look at another classic Spider-Man villain: the Rhino. Thus far, the Rhino has only appeared once in a live-action Spider-Man film. In 2014, Rhino was played by Paul Giamatti in The Amazing Spider-Man 2, with the character undergoing significant changes from Marvel Comics before the franchise was canceled in favor of an MCU Spider-Man reboot.

With the thick, rhino-like skin covering the body of Nivola's Aleksei Sytsevich, it is clear the more biological aspects of Rhino's Marvel Comics stories will be adapted in Kraven the Hunter. Outside of this brief tease, no more footage of Rhino was shown.
In The Amazing Spider-Man films, Fiers was the man pulling the strings from behind the scenes, attempting to build the Sinister Six to destroy Spider-Man using Oscorp technology. One piece of this Oscorp tech was a large, mechanical exo-suit resembling a rhino. This was given to Giamatti's version of Systevich, who became the Rhino.
