A couple of examples: if you’re a gay man, do you use derogatory language about or have an irrational fear of vulvas? Your genital preferences aside have you considered the root of such behaviour in misogynistic stigmatisation of women’s bodies? You don’t have to want to f*** vaginas to have respect for them! And frankly, sexual desire as a determinant of how we value people and their bodies is quite indistinguishable from how many cishet men treat women.

That said, I do think it’s important to discuss what we as queer and trans men can do, particularly about violence and harassment in public spaces. Again, it’s a threat that many of us are no stranger to:
