Myles Garrett had 3.5 sacks in Week 3's win over Tennessee, but is he in the DPOY conversation now?
Last season, Garrett tied for second in sacks , but still finished fifth in voting points for DPOY, losing to San Francisco’s Nick Bosa, who led the league in sacks .
This season, Garrett has been productive so far with 4.5 sacks, 3.5 coming in the 27-3 win over Tennessee. Among edge rushers, he ranks second in Pro Football Focus defensive grading and first in pass rushing . Garrett’s chances of winning the award can increase if he can consistently display his abilities, along with clinching a playoff berth.
