How Miyan Williams' absence affects Ohio State.
COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State coach Ryan Day said Tuesday that running back Miyan Williams will be out for the remainder of the season after a “procedure” was done.
Williams led the team in rushing with 825 yards and 14 touchdowns last season, but this year, was relegated to third-string duty behind TreVeyon Henderson and Chip Trayanum.Kyle McCord, Miyan Williams and reacting to Ohio State’s spot in the College Football Playoff rankings: Buckeye Talk PodcastThis year, though, he had just 49 carries for 158 yards and three touchdowns. Now, it’s expected that Henderson and Trayanum will carry the load, but the third spot is up for grabs.
