Letby's £200,000 Chester home has been sold, her pets re-homed and with a life-long sentence, she will never spend time outside of prison again - dying behind bars.

Killer nurse Lucy Letby appeared to live a relatively normal life as a young and single woman before she was jailed for life for her sickening crimes.

With more parents now coming forward fearing that Letby harmed their babies, we take a look at the dark experiences the serial killer will be expected to have in prison and the types of treatment she could receive - from boiling hot water attacks by inmates to constant violence and screams all night long and the added punishment she'll likely face when her family passes away.

"I find it extremely unlikely that any sort of temporary release would be granted - for her own safety as much as anything else. Currently, she's being segregated within Low Newton, again to prevent her from being attacked. Social media rumours saying that she's been attacked already are misinformation."

Inside Letby's cell, which she is expected to spend 22 hours a day in, is a single bed, a storage unit, a chair, and a toilet. She will likely be encouraged by staff to avoid extreme stress and frustration by mentally stimulating herself. She will be able to communicate with her family through the Email a Prisoner service but she will not receive these messages directly. Prison staff will check the messages, print them out and deliver them to her cell. There is no limit to the number of emails she can send or receive but they will cost 40p each from her prison cash card.
