The Jets will head to town with six picks, including No. 13 overall, while the Giants have 10, beginning with No. 25.:General manager Joe Douglas drafted an offensive lineman in the first round of each of his first two drafts.The Jets need help at offensive tackle and could take Ohio State’s Paris Johnson Jr. or Georgia’s Broderick Jones at No. 13 overall.
They also need to land a center and that could come in the second round with Minnesota’s John Michael Schmitz or Wisconsin’s Joe Tippmann.What Giants might do at offensive line in 2023 NFL Draft GM Joe Schoen arrived last year and inherited an offensive line position group in need of upgraded talent and much better backups.
He went to work, selecting Evan Neal with the No. 7 pick in 2022 to bookend with franchise left tackle Andrew Thomas.John Michael Schmitz could be a strong Day 2 pick for the Giants or Jets.
