Apple's products, along with their services division, are on track to soon make Apple the first three trillion-dollar company in the world.
In terms of business success, Tim Cook's leadership is considered one of the great success stories in this century so far and Wall Street and stockholders alike applaud the fact that Apple has continued to innovate and flourish even with Steve Jobs no longer with us.
This type of management style is being studied now in business schools and other board rooms as this shift in how Apple gets things done is gaining serious notice. This type of innovative management is all Tim Cook. He is the person behind making sure silos never develop and giving his project leads what they need to get the job done. One other thing to note is that Cook and his executive team is very patient.
The importance of Apple doing their silicon has been clearer since the introduction of their M1 processor. This chip, which integrates CPU, GPU, and other key technologies to deliver a system-on-a-chip, gives Apple the ability to control their products' destiny starting at the CPU/GPU level and beyond. They are rumored to be doing their own cellular chip. too, and by end of 2022, Apple may have homegrown silicon at the center of all of their major products.
