Fri, May 10th 2024 at 1:25 PM2023 Community Screening of The Deepest Breath The Sundance Film Festival ’s Local Lens series is a free annual event that brings some of the festival’s biggest hits back to indoor and outdoor Park City and Salt Lake City venues. This year’s program will take place July 17-21.
For the first time, audiences are given the opportunity to vote and determine one of the films that will be shown.Synopsis: Director John Water’s classic Hairspray follows the story of Tracy Turnblad, a young Baltimore teen desperate to become a star on a local teen dance program and rallies against racial segregation.

Yesterday Utah’s Sundance Film Festival Host Committee released a statement on their bid status:
