San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich is in his 29th season with the team. He is the NBA's career wins leader, which includes 170 playoff victories and five championships. Popovich is expected to make a full recovery, according to the team, and has already commenced a rehabilitation program.

Brown coached for seven seasons in Philadelphia, but returned to San Antonio in 2022 as an assistant. Matt Nielsen serves as the other assistant on the bench.
