They fired Sandy Brondello last offseason, a year after winning the franchise’s first title, and hired longtime Warriors assistant coach Chris DeMarco with the hopes he could reinvigorate a team that fell short of its believed potential in 2025. They re-signed their Big 3 of Breanna Stewart, Sabrina Ionescu and Jonquel Jones. They added Satou Sabally and Pauline Astier, and welcomed the return of Betnijah Laney-Hamilton.
