, some of you reflected on how to best use your voice and social privilege to fight systemic racism, while others focused on your own healing or helped those most at risk for COVID-19. You're a perfectionist and sometimes spend too much time worrying about the details, but you've let that go a little lately as you've been forced to adapt. That's been difficult, and you deserve to take time out for self-care and much-needed pampering.
It's also time to be more intentional and start to make conscious choices. How do you want to approach romantic relationships? What talents and hobbies outside of your job give you the greatest satisfaction? Aasks us to tap into our own strength. Yes, you've been through hell, and it's easy to be mad at those who hold power, but don't let them take your spirit. Find joy where you can and spread it around as much as possible. We must not submit to the darkness.
. It's a tough time for birthdays, but please bake yourself a cake. Celebrate with folks you can safely social distance with, or organize an online donation in lieu of gifts. Take time to enjoy your favorite homemade dinner. You see yourself as a force of justice, and you are. But even our bravest warriors deserve to celebrate their birthdays, so please enjoy.
