On Sunday, the Pittsburgh Steelers travel to Atlanta to face the Falcons for a Week 1 clash. It’s always important to get off to a hot start; the Steelers and Falcons will have some intense emotions. For one, new Falcons head coach Raheem Morris and Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin are best friends.
“When you’re talking about being re-signed, when you’re talking about those two edge rushers, when you’re talking about that safety, that’s just phenomenal,” Morris said. “...They got a couple of additions on that football team that you know are going to play really well. And you got to go out there and prepare for those guys and prepare to go play against those guys in a system that’s been well-documented for a very long time.
“I think whoever’s playing quarterback is going to present that challenge,” Morris said. “Mike told me to prepare for Justin Fields, so we did. Russell’s going to be able to go out there and present the challenge he’s always presented to teams, with I’m sure the obnoxious amount of preparation he’s put into the game plan in order to go out there and what he’s got to get done.
