The weekend will be capped off by the NASCAR Cup Series' Goodyear 400 at Darlington Raceway on Sunday afternoon, May 12.
Kyle Larson does a burnout after winning a NASCAR Cup Series auto race at Darlington Raceway, Sunday, Sept. 3, 2023, in Darlington, S.C. That’s where the series is parked this weekend, as all three NASCAR series are in action.
The event features a week full of racing, parades, and more, as hundreds of RVS arrived as early as Monday with plans to stay for the entire week. William Byron enters as the Good year 400′s defending champ after starting fourth in 2023. There will be plenty of attention trained on Kyle Larson, who beat Chris Buescher last week at Kansas in a green-white-checkered finish and the closest finish — a thousandth of a second — in NASCAR history. It will be curious to see what the series points leader does for an encore.
