Con artists are sending text messages, phone calls and emails pretending to be from the NHS and offering vaccine passports.NHS Scotland launched its version of the app just last week and Scots have also been inundated with scammers.
These messages will usually be asking the recipient to click on a link that leads you to an online form which looks almost identical to the NHS website.The NHS will never text or email you and ask for financial details. You should contact your local practise if you are concerned or if you think you need to update your personal information.There are a number of ways you can report potential fraud if you think you have been a victim or if you think you have been approached by a scammer.If you are concerned about an email you have received you can also forward it to report@phishing.gov.uk.If you think you have been a victim of fraud then there are people who can help.
