We’ve got to start taking the ball away more.” Prior to the last Oklahoma game, Alabama had grabbed at least one takeaway in every SEC game. The game against the Sooners ended up being the only game during SEC regular-season play in which the Alabama defense didn’t get a takeaway. But Alabama also didn’t tally any takeaways in the loss to Georgia in the SEC Championship Game.
