Agility is one of two Westminster events that allow mixed-breed, or 'all-American' dogs, to compete.
Cynthia Hornor won the Westminster agility competition for the second consecutive year, this time with her dog Nimble, the first mixed-breed dog to become champion., added to the long-running dog show in 2013, is an event that allows non-purebred dogs — what the kennel club calls “all-American” dogs — to compete.
Though Nimble won the big title for the first time, this is the second consecutive agility championship for her owner, For most of its history, the Westminster Kennel Club dog show, now in its 148th year, has been associated with purebred dogs.As for the other agility winners this year, a border collie named Vanish did just that when the time clock started to breeze to the finish line in 29.87 seconds with owner Emily Klarman of Doylestown, Pennsylvania and win the 16-inch class.
