A Sydney home, that is missing a large chunk of its roof due to fire damage, has sold for nearly $1 million at auction. The three-bedroom home at 51 Brisbane Rd in St Johns Park in Sydney’s west sold for $965,000 in September. At first glance at the initial images on the property’s listing, the home looks conventional and ready to move into. However, one detail of the home cannot be missed upon further inspection.
Parts of the wall and tiling have also been torn apart, while a destroyed cabinet is shown underneath the exposed beams of the home’s ceiling. But, Blaze Real Estate describes the home as one that offers “endless possibilities” with the potential to transform it into the “perfect family home or investment property”. One of the main selling points of the property, according to the listing, is its location in a thriving suburb in western Sydney.
