Western Cape records 12 more Covid-19 deaths and has 7 220 cases
Cape Town - The Western Cape has recorded an additional 12 Covid-19 deaths, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus in the province to 129.
The national Department of Health figures for the Western Cape differ from those announced by Winde daily because the national figures are compiled from data supplied before the provincial figures are announced.Earlier on Thursday, Winde called for entire province to move to level 3 of the lockdown, in conjunction with its targeted hot-spot plan, following President Cyril Ramaphosa's address on Wednesday night.
