The man was found near the site of another shooting Friday in West Oakland. Police did not say if he was connected to that incident.
OAKLAND — A man was found shot to death in a car in West Oakland Saturday morning, in a residential neighborhood at the 600 block of Sycamore Street between Martin Luther King Jr. Way and West Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man has not been identified but was believed to have been in his mid-40s. Police did not say if they have determined a motive behind the shooting and no arrests have been made.another incident of gunfire Friday evening that left three people dead , including a bicyclist who was killed when the shooter ran him over while trying to flee. Police did not say if the victim found Saturday morning is connected to the previous night’s shooting.
