A protest will take place today (September 7) at Angel Square in Northampton
West Northamptonshire Council says SEND issues in the county are a "priority" but there is "still much to do". A protest took place on Thursday at Angel Square in Northampton by West Northants SEND Action group.
"Many children are denied education for years, sat at home and ignored by those with a legal obligation to provide them with an education. Others are in unsuitable schools with their needs not met, being regularly restrained and traumatised as a result."
