Graham Potter praises Tomas Soucek’s ‘good save’ after controversial 1-1 draw at West Ham CFC
, but the Blues weren’t given a penalty.
Post-match, Potter was asked about the flashpoint and had a cheeky response to it, suggesting Soucek made a good save. Speaking to talkSPORT, Potter said: “I’ve only seen it on the TV as I walked here. I didn’t realise how obvious it looks. It’s a good save!“It was a good save from Tomas – I didn’t think he would get down that quickly and make the save so credit to him for that.”
Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek shared the sentiment, saying his side should’ve got a penalty for the incident. Also talking exclusively to talkSPORT, the Englishman said: “I didn’t see much from the bench at the time, but seeing the replay afterwards, for me it’s a handball as he’s stopping a clear shot on goal.
