finale left Jamie at a crossroads of good and evil when he ended up murdering his biological dad. But like, his dad was not a cool guy, so, like everything else in the show, it’s complicated. Bentley sat down with SheKnows and we decided to find out how well he knows his own show with someAlthough Bentley seemed nervous, he proved he actually knowspretty well. Except for one very important character. His on-screen brother Kayce Dutton .
The one that stumped Bentley the most was a callback to the pilot. We asked him what Jamie’s line to John was during his brother’s funeral. Bentley was left speechless for a few seconds, but then quickly nailed the answer. Hint: It is not, “Why did you take my hat?” Though frankly, we’d love to see Jamie Dutton confronting John Dutton about stealing his hat.
Season 5 promises a lot of drama for Jamie and John. Bentley also told us what he’s learned from working with Kevin Costner, what he’s taught Costner, Jamie’s new dangerous vibe in season 5, and his continually conflicted dynamic with on-screen sister Beth Dutton .
