Morrissey's legal action against A&E seeks 'substantial monetary damages' to cover Williams' healthcare needs. The guardian's filing highlights a 'formal diagnosis' by doctors at Weill Cornell Medical Center, which states that Williams suffers from frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and primary progressive aphasia (PPA). Additionally, there is a judicial finding that declares Williams 'legally incapacitated.' Morrissey is requesting a 'new medical evaluation' involving comprehensive neurological and psychological testing by a specialist. She believes that the question of Williams' capacity to make decisions in her own best interest requires 'renewed careful consideration by qualified experts,' rather than speculation in the media
