Wells Fargo has purchased the Las Colinas property where it plans to build a $200 million development at Las Colinas Boulevard and Promenade Parkway.

The 10-story bank offices will sit on the north shore of Lake Carolyn and will house 4,000 workers when they open by 2026.

Dallas developer KDC is building the project, which will include two office buildings with 800,000 square feet of space in the first phase. Dallas county deed records show that the California-based bank has taken direct ownership of the land.Wells Fargo has not yet confirmed its plans for the new Texas regional office campus. And KDC officials won’t comment on the development.Wells Fargo’s Irving campus is one of the largest office developments planned in North Texas.

The only office development that will be larger is Goldman Sachs new office center to be built just north of downtown Dallas.
