The furniture retailer has two stores in the Indianapolis area.
The stores' model, of only being open Friday through Sunday, allowed them to offer lower prices.
The franchise has two Indianapolis locations. The Castleton location, at 8315 Center Run Dr., opened in 2015; and the Greenwood store, at 8850 S. Emerson Avenue, opened in 2018. The store faced many challenges due to the aftereffects to COVID-19, as well as supply chain disruptions, inflation and the war in Ukraine. Phillips, who came out of retirement to help guide the company through these challenges, said he thought that based on the state of the economy, he would rather retire again than try to battle these forces. The store's liquidation sale will begin Thursday and run until items are gone.
