The boys varsity lacrosse team s at both Webster high schools are raising awareness for a student who needs a kidney transplant .

Tordai, who was previously active in soccer, wrestling and track at Webster Thomas, had to start spending three days a week undergoing dialysis. On Tuesday, Webster Thomas and Webster Schroeder faced off on the lacrosse field. The teams also sold green T-shirts to raise money for Tordai. "We have gone not just to the Thomas side but the Schroeder side," said organizer Stephanie Schaffer. "This is one community, one Webster. Both sides are wearing green to support Austin.

"Once we got the word out, everyone was asking how can we help the family," Schaffer continued. "This is one way to show support."
