The Met Office has warned of downpours later this afternoon that is expected to last until the early hours of tomorrow morning.
Residents have been warned to expect difficult driving conditions with a"small chance of disruption" expected across public transport.Rain is due to hit around 4pm this afternoon and last until 6am tomorrow. The Met Office said:"Spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures along with the chance of delays or cancellations to train and bus services."There is a small chance that some communities will become cut off by flooded roads."There is a small chance that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings."
