It is going to turn much colder
New weather maps suggest Nottingham could be hit heavily by snow next week as the Met Office warns the frosty weather will be 'widespread and persistent'. A calm weekend with clear skies will give way to a freezing start next week as a cold snap is forecast to sweep across the country, with Tuesday, and Wednesday, seeing the heaviest snow showers across the UK.
Starting on Tuesday, a flurry of frosty weather is predicted to sweep down from the north of the country, settling over the capital at around 6pm. It comes as the Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice next week, as a northerly airflow is expected to bring some disruptive weather.
