WARNING: This article contains spoilers for Weak Hero Class 1.Weak Hero Class 2 will be premiering on Netflix on April 25, 2025, and there are certain things to remember from Class 1 before the K-drama is released. Based on the webtoon of the same name by Seopass and Kim Jin-seok, Weak Hero Class 1 stars Park Ji-hoon, Choi Hyun-wook, and Hong Kyung, who take on the roles of Yeon Si-eun, Ahn Su-ho, and Oh Beom-seok, respectively.
9 Yeon Si-eun, Ahn Su-ho, And Oh Beom-seok Became Close Friends Thanks To Su-ho's Insistence Close When Yeong-bin fails to bully Si-eun, he chooses another person to hurt, Oh Beom-seok, a new transfer student. Unlike Si-eun, Beom-seok isn’t able to stand up to Yeong-bin. He helps the bully drug Si-eun, who is understandably angry with him when he finds out the role he played in the whole debacle. Fortunately, Si-eun forgives Beom-seok and the two become friends.
Posts Si-eun’s mother, on the other hand, was alive but not really part of his life. Due to her busy schedule, she rarely spent any time with her son. She seemed to prefer working to being with Si-eun, which is why he said he had no mom. Si-eun is only shown with both of his parents once in the K-drama.
6 Oh Beom-Seok Transferred From Another School Because He Was Bullied He Was Targeted Because He Was Considered The Weakest Student Close In the first episode of Weak Hero Class 1, it’s revealed that Oh Beom-seok transferred from an affluent school, but the reason why wasn’t revealed until later on in the coming-of-age K-drama. When Beom-seok was at his old school, the students who considered themselves the strongest in the whole school targeted him because he seemed like the weakest one.
4 Gil-Su Took Advantage Of Teenagers Si-eun And Yeong-i Came Up With A Plan To Put Gil-su Behind Bars Close Weak Hero Class 1 introduces audiences to Gil-su, a scam artist whom Seok-dae, Yeong-bin’s cousin, worked for. Gil-su had a gambling app that lured teenagers, who weren’t allowed to gamble, to bet a lot of money. Initially, the teenagers would win on the app, and then they would begin to lose their money slowly.
Posts His father, who didn’t want his reputation to be tainted by what Beom-seok had done, got him a place at a new school in the Philippines. It’s still not clear if Beom-seok will be returning in Weak Hero Class 2, but given how he left things with Su-ho and Si-eun, it's unlikely that they will be friends even if he does appear in the second season of the K-drama.
