Vladimir Putin has hinted Russia could supply long-range arms to other countries to strike Western targets, criticising the delivery of weapons from some NATO allies to Ukraine.

Vladimir Putin has taken questions from Western journalists for the first time since Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022, suggesting Moscow could send weapons to other regions to attack Western targets.

"Putin warned that Western arms deliveries to Ukraine were 'a very negative step', saying that donors were 'controlling' the weapons," an AFP report said. The claims made by the Russian President are not verified.
