We tried R Coffee - which could be the best coffee in the Fylde Coast, if not Lancashire
After reading this headline, some coffee lovers could either be eagerly wanting to see what we've called the best coffee in the Fylde, or angry because they've already decided what the best is.
One of these is R Coffee - a small coffee spot that started off its life in the sleepy village of Ansdell, between the major towns of Lytham and St Annes. For the past year, the shop says it's been serving the best coffee in the area and has more recently spread its wings further afield. In May this year, it was announced that R Coffee would be joining a number of businesses and vendors in Blackpool, to call Abingdon Street Market its second home.
They say that whilst many other coffee shops will simply put out a coffee roast with little thought, R Coffee have mastered their combination of nuts, rum and raisin to make a delicious, well-rounded roast for every drink they make. An indication of their particularity when it comes to the quality of their coffee is the art on the top of the latte, making a pretty and inviting pattern that adds to the entire experience.
Having cooled down for a minute or two, our attention has been re-directed to sampling the coffee and we almost don't want to ruin the impressive coffee art that's been created on top. But, we're here to test the roasted beans and for that, we've got to make sacrifices.
