We headed along to find out.READ MORE: Glasgow Christmas Lights Switch On ticket info released as ballot opens this weekFrom the stripped-back exterior to the laidback vibes of the interior , this place effortlessly drips cool.
The counter offers a tantalising glimpse at some of the fresh ingredients ready to be used in their subs, while we found the staff both welcoming and friendly. We opted for the already-famous number 3 – the porchetta, salsa verde, rocket, parmesan and garlic and herb butter – and the number one, which came with salami, prosciutto cotto, turkey, mozzarella, iceberg lettuce, herb mix and their sub sauce.
The number 3 was, well, stunning, it was easy to see why it's quickly become a firm favourite with diners already. The porchetta was moist and succulent with a nice salty flavour to the roast pork being cut through from the garlic and lemon and that zingy salsa verde, while all of the ingredients tasted fresh and flavoursome. The number 1 was also a cracker, with the fresh ingredients smothered in that delightful sub sauce, hats off to the guys for that one.
