The Barras food scene is very underrated!
The east end of Glasgow doesn't get enough credit when it comes to food and drinks with many people hopping to the west end or south side.
One of the latest additions to the Barras is the cleverly named HoLeeFook - read all about their name here - with the husband and wife run eatery already so popular you'll have to be prepared to wait. But thankfully not for too long, with the team working hard to get all the orders out.So not passing up the opportunity to try it out, whilst in the Barras of a weekend - and when it wasn't raining - we ventured down to the new Asian Street food spot, and we were not left disappointed.
For those unaware, Kewpie mayo is made from egg yolks and not whole eggs. It is said to have a richer and velvety texture when compared to regular store-bought mayo. What does Glasgow's HoLeeFook menu look like? When we visited, this is all the mouth-watering stuff they had on offer.
