We predict that the Reds could line up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Kelleher; Gomez, Konate, Van Dijk, Tsimikas; Endo, Elliott, Gravenberch; Salah, Nunez, Jota. Joe Gomez was finding himself in some fantastic attacking positions down the right with multiple defenders instead marking the threat of Salah, and this worked in the Reds' favour when the defender was picked out in space by Harvey Elliott. On the right, Gomez floated a cross into the centre of the box, and Diogo Jota met the ball unmarked, guiding his header into the far corner of the net.
