Our Murano is a very pedestrian SV model but that only means that it’s not as fancy as the SL and Platinum trims. All four available trim levels come with the same exact 3.5-liter V6 engine that develops 260 hp and 240 lb-ft of torque. It then sends that power to the front or all four wheels through a continuously variable transmission.
It tips the scales at about 3,900 pounds and the EPA estimates that it’ll get 20 mpg in the city and up to 28 mpg on the highway regardless of driven wheels. Standard safety features include forward collision mitigation, blind-spot monitoring, and lane-departure warning. Every model features an 8-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
