This Maryland dad wrote inspirational notes to his stepdaughter every day through her middle school years. Little did he know that she held onto every single one!
A Maryland girl saved a treasure trove of inspirational Post-it notes from her stepfather, which he wrote throughout her time in middle school, and gave them to him as a present on Father's Day.
The video of Brian Sandusky opening his present from Sophia Wilcox was posted to Twitter where it was viewed more than 6 million times. Wilcox wrote in her tweet that her stepdad had given her the notes throughout middle school. She left middle school six years ago, but held onto the notes. during middle school, my stepdad used to leave me a note on my door each day to inspire me. well, I kept those notes & It’s been 6 years since then. today I gave him those notes back🥰 #HappyFathersDay pic.twitter.com/ftT3sjQEH5In the video, Sandusky becomes emotional when he realizes what he's just unwrapped."These are all your notes," he said though tears.
