‘We just want to understand why’: Family looking for answers after loved ones’ graves were vandalized

Two mothers are filled with many emotions after someone vandalized their sons’ graves and recorded the act on camera.

– Flanigan’s mother Vonette Nixon said she got a call about a post regarding her son and nephew.

“Upon seeing the video, it was a young man urinating on the headstone, as well as, as you can see, messing up the bench, as well as cracking it up, beating it up,” Nixon said.“They have family that really love them, and it’s been three years and five years, and we already deal with not having justice, and then now we have to endure this, and it just basically brings back up wounds that haven’t even healed yet,” Nixon said.
